Digiteum, a leading cross-functional software development company, is looking for a skilled full stack engineer to join our team.
We offer you an opportunity to work in the international team of 15 software engineers who develop software products and services for a global company providing world-known brands with data analytics services.
You will need to be able to work in a US/UK-based multicultural environment and speak freely with your colleagues on a daily basis. We are remote-friendly and welcome candidates from any location within Belarus and Poland.
Work with tech leads, engineers, designers, and DevOps engineers to develop dynamic client-side web applications across most areas of the client’s business.
Prototype and develop new ideas and participate in all parts of the lifecycle from research to release.
Work closely with UX and Graphic Designers to turn wireframes and visual designs into working HTML/CSS prototypes and continue to build out the client’s design system.
Develop and optimize front-end UI to ensure web applications are rendered consistently in cross-browser environments.
Contribute to the development of new APIs as well as maintain the existing APIs written in Node.js and hosted on AWS.
Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and core services in Node.js/NextJS on AWS. Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
Ability to read and understand PHP codebases (CodeIgniter/Laravel).
Ability to work with AWS services including API Gateway, Cognito, Lambda, EC2, S3.
Proficiency in front-end frameworks React/NextJS, CSS/LESS, Webpack, and NPM.
Experience in debugging complex systems at code, network and infrastructure levels.
Experience working with relational databases (MySQL preferred) and non-relational databases (MongoDB preferred).
Strong knowledge of how the web works and how to make it efficient (networking, caching, page rendering, etc.).
Experience working with ElasticSearch is a big plus.
Familiarity with performance and debugging tools like Firebug, YSlow, Charles, Fiddler.
Good understanding of continuous delivery, writing unit tests and automated testing.
General understanding of ETL/Data Migration strategies and scalability.
English: Ability to work in an US/UK-based multicultural team and speak freely with your colleagues on a DAILY basis. B2+ recommended.
