QA Engineer

Digiteum is looking for a skilled QA engineer to work on the web system for Printique.

Printique is a photo laboratory that offers a wide spectrum of printing services including photo books, metal prints, cards, photo calendars, etc. The website has more than 1 million users. Printique is more than just a website. It’s a complex high-load system that consists of multiple backend and frontend components. It is evolving constantly, and it takes much more than traditional tech support to keep it top-notch.

The system has a multifunctional complex frontend that allows users to create photo products based on their content. A simple photo ordering process requires the upload and processing of thousands of photos, setting custom options, etc. Users upload up to 500-1000 GB of data daily and create photo products online using custom HTML5 editors and wizards.

Apart from the frontend, the system has a complex backend (image upload, processing, etc.) that enables end-to-end automation of the lab’s production and management processes (Printique provides physical products such as photo books), processing of massive image data, integration with payment gateways, photo book rendering, etc. As a rule, adding a new product requires both frontend and backend development.
