Business Analyst/Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our team in building an innovative web application for a New York-based non-profit organization. This project aims to modernize the technology infrastructure, improving compatibility, security, and efficiency, and fostering the organization’s ability to utilize new technology solutions.

In this role, you will not only oversee the project from start to finish but also use your analytical skills to understand and document the project requirements, perform business analysis, and translate these requirements into functional specifications. Your project management skills will be critical in coordinating a team of frontend and backend engineers, testers, and designers to ensure the timely delivery of the application.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, outlining key deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Perform business analysis to understand and document project requirements, translating these into functional specifications.
  • Oversee project progress to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to align objectives and expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or obstacles.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and successes regularly with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a combined role of business analysis and project management in the tech industry.
  • Proven experience managing software development projects and teams.
  • Strong skills in business and data analysis.
  • Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Valid Polish residence and permission to work in Poland.

  • Technical background (could be acquired during your studies).
