Payroll and Accounting Specialist

Join our team of experts as a Payroll and Accounting Specialist.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and executing monthly payroll salary payments.
  • Maintaining time and attendance data for the payroll purposes.
  • Managing personnel files and other documents for legal purposes (employment contracts, contract extensions, work certificates, etc.).
  • Preparing monthly reports: social security declarations, tax reports, PFRON reports, GUS reports.
  • Calculating income tax advances.
  • Preparing VAT tax declarations and CIT tax returns.
  • Closing annual accounting books and preparing the financial statements.
  • Cooperating with external institutions (Tax Office, Social Insurance Institution, Central Statistical Office, banks).
  • Controlling the validity of occupational medicine examinations and occupational health and safety training.
  • Supervising the documentation and preparing PPK settlement documents.
  • Conducting bank transfers and posting bank statements.
  • Organizing document flow according to company’s standards.
Requirements
  • University degree in economics (accounting, finance, and similar) or legal field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the HR and payroll department in a similar independent role.
  • Very good practical knowledge of the provisions of Labor Law, Social Insurance, and PPK.
  • Knowledge of time tracking systems, methods of their settlement, and calculation of remuneration.
  • Very good command of English (at least C1 level).
  • Practical knowledge of labor law, social insurance regulations, benefits, and personal taxes.
  • Very good organizational and analytical skills.
  • A can-do attitude and good attention to details.
