Digiteum is looking for a React/Node.js Engineer for a long-term project for one of the leading telecommunication companies based in the UK. You will work on the multilanguage web portal – the main point of entry for the Client’s customers in the UK, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany.
The project has a modern tech stack, including React, Node.js (Express), GraphQL, AEM, Redux, and more. The Client’s in-house teams (up to 20 ppl mainly located in the UK) work in an agile environment with daily meetings and short to medium sprints.
Extensive experience with Node.js and common packages, architectures.
Experience designing, maintaining and expanding APIs via REST, WebSocket, and other technologies.
Experience building toolchain applications, agents, services, server and client applications in Node.js or similar.
Thorough working knowledge (and preferably DBA experience) working with a variety of databases.
NoSQL and other storage technologies in Node.js (at least including PostgreSQL and Redis).
Experience working with RabbitMQ, Magento.
Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements.
Provide system or technical development expertise to the team.
Write quality, maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment.
Create integrations with 3rd-party partners to extend the overall functionality of the platform.
Develop, support, and improve GraphQL API.
Write automated unit and integration tests.
Enhance the extensibility of the core codebase.
Provide effort estimations.
Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the customer’s site.
Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product.
