Digiteum is looking for a talented Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Belarus and work on a fast-growing travel tech project.
The Client is a product-first tech company based in Barcelona. They developed an all-in-one web platform for vacation rental management that allows property owners to easily create bookable websites and manage all reservations in one place.
This is a great opportunity to join a highly skilled and experienced agile team and work on a long-term project. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will become a key player for the QA team and contribute to the development and evolution of the platform and its features. You will apply your skills across the software development lifecycle and work within the project’s well-established time-tested process. There’s ample room to grow and opportunities to move to test automation should you decide to do so.
Perform effective manual testing to ensure the product’s stability and performance.
Perform exploratory testing.
Create test designs, test cases, and test data.
Evaluate the efficiency of existing QA processes and recommend improvements.
Report defects, define severity and priority.
Read documents to determine what needs to be tested and how.
Automate regression tests with Testim.
Design testing scenarios for usability testing.
Prepare reports related to software testing carried out.
Review and contribute to the test plans.
Analyze, review and assess requirements and design specifications.
Work closely with the Product Manager.
Minimum of 1-year experience as a Software Quality Assurance.
Ability to speak, write and read technical documentation in English.
A clear understanding of the testing methodology.
Experience with debugging through browser developer tools.
Ability to report defects and document clearly.
Problem-solving and result-driven approach.
End-user empathy and understanding of the business strategy.
Nice to have
Good understanding of Internet concepts (HTTP Requests and Responses, Cookies, Local Storage, General understanding of HTML and CSS).
Experience with Postman or Fiddler.
Experience in API testing.
Experience in mobile app testing.
